The roadworks at the junction with Stombers Lane and Cowgate Lane have been completed on time and the road is open again. Hooray!
Now that spring is upon us (I know it doesn’t feel like it!) our regular monthly Coffee mornings take place on the first Sunday in the month. So that means our May Coffee Morning falls in the middle of the Kings Coronation celebrations (7th May) and we will be celebrating too with a great selection of ‘royal’ cakes. We’re open from 10am until 1pm on this occasion and would love to see members old and new with their families on the day.
Grass Cutting & Fences
The grass cutting season is also here too, though sadly we are having problems with our ride-on mower, which we are hoping to have repaired through one of our members contacts. However, this means we are currently having to use the old petrol powered mowers which takes quite a bit longer. If you are able to do a shift on the mower please contact Chris via firstname.lastname@example.org
It is worth remembering that when the grass is being mowed, any obstructions or hazards like fallen down fences, can cause serious problems for whoever s using the mower. Please therefore, make sure your fences are well maintained and not creating a hazard and remember, the outside of your plot is as much your responsibility as the inside. Thank you.
Entrance Gate Code
As you are probably aware, we like to change the code on the padlocks at the entrance gates once a year. The code is being altered this year at the time of our Coffee Morning on 7th May. The new code will be sent to you via a separate personal email in the very near future, so please look out for it and make a note of the new number.
A reminder that the AGM is taking place on site on Thursday 18th May at 6:30pm. The agenda has been updated to include a note about recording members email address, which was omitted from the copy circulated earlier. A revised agenda can be seen / downloaded below:-
